A (SB XXII 15462, P.Lond. VII 2129, TM 1654): Fragment of a petition to Zenon, concerned with some objects that had been entrusted to Niceratus, who went away, and mentioning the sale of a slave; dated 3 November 255 BC. PSI VI 563, P.Cair.Zen. IV 59625, and P.Lond. VII 2093 preserve the rest of the petition, which is nearly complete.
B (P.Lond. VII 2130, TM 1690): Fragmentary letter of Petosiris to Zenon, of uncertain content owing to mutilation. With docket on the back; written before 9 March 255 BC.

Two papyrus fragments that do not belong together, housed in the same glass frame.
A: Fragment of a dark-brown papyrus sheet, further portions of which are Papyrus 2354(F), and two fragments in Cairo and Florence; complete at the top and bottom, broken off on the sides; with writing on one side, the back being blank. On the front, there are the central portions of 7 lines written across the fibres; upper and lower margins survive.
B: Dark-brown papyrus fragment, complete at the top and on the right, broken off on the other sides; badly shredded; with writing on both sides. On the front, there are the ends of 2 lines written along the fibres; the right margin is minimal, the upper measures 50 mm. On the back, there are two lines written along the fibres.

Dimensions: A: 95 x 42 mm; B: 86 x 75 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 145 x 180 mm.
Script: A: Large hand, proficient and not too slow, with a slight slant to the right; letters are mostly separated; hand of an Egyptian scribe, who used a brush; same hand as that of P.Mich. I 29; B: Medium-sized uncial hand.

Provenance: Philadelpheia, meris of Herakleides, Arsinoite nome, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 2741-2783 from Dr A. N. Kondilios in December 1926. Part of a joint purchase with the University of Michigan and Columbia University.
