Miscellaneous texts from the archive of Zenon.
A (P.Lond. VII 2143, TM 1703): Fragment of a list, apparently of contributions to a sacrificial meal.
B (P.Lond. VII 2090, TM 1651): Fragment from the conclusion of a letter; the names of the correspondents are lost.
C (P.Lond. VII 2032, TM 1594): Fragment of a letter from a certain Dionysodorus; the name of the recipient is lost. The writer may be asking the recipient to return something.
D (P.Lond. VII 2091, TM 1652): Fragment of a letter to Zenon, of which little remains. The address is on the back.
E (P.Lond. VII 2092, TM 1653): Fragment of a letter, of which little remains. The names of the correspondents are lost.
F (SB XXII 15462, P.Lond. VII 2093, TM 1654): Fragment of a petition to Zenon, concerned with some objects that had been entrusted to Niceratus, who went away, and mentioning the sale of a slave; dated 3 November 255 BC. Further fragments of the petition are preserved in Papyrus 2747(A) (=P.Lond. VII 2130), a papyrus in Florence published as PSI VI 563, and a papyrus in Cairo published as P.Cair.Zen. IV 59625.

Six papyrus fragments that do not belong together, housed in the same glass frame.
A: Left-hand portion of a medium-brown papyrus sheet, broken off at the top and on the right; with writing on one side; the back is blank. On the front, there are the beginnings of twelve lines written along the fibres; left and lower margins are extant.
B: Medium-brown papyrus sheet, darkened in places; complete at the bottom, broken off on all other sides. On the front, there are seven lines written across the fibres, lacking beginnings and ends; the lower is extant. On the back, there are faded traces of writing running along the fibres.
C: Fragment of a medium-brown papyrus sheet, complete at the top and broken off on all other sides; writing on one side. The back is blank. On the front, there are the central portions of three lines from the top of a column running across the fibres. The upper margin is extant.
D: Fragment of a medium-brown papyrus sheet, complete at the top, and broken off on the other sides; with writing on both sides. On the front, there are the central portions of three lines, running across the fibres; upper margin is extant. On the back, there is one word written along the fibres, upside down in relation to the text on the front.
E: Small fragment of a light-to-medium-brown papyrus, broken off on all sides; with writing on one side. The back is blank. On the front, there are portions of three lines written across the fibres, and traces of another line at the bottom.
F: Small fragment of a medium-brown papyrus sheet, further portions of which are Papyrus 2747(A) and two fragments now in Florence and Cairo; complete at the bottom and broken off on all other sides; with writing on one side, the back being blank. On the front, there are few letters from six lines running across the fibres, and the lower margin.

Dimensions: A: 226 x 62 mm; B: 103 x 77 mm; C: 44 x 94 mm; D: 49 x 43 mm; E: 38 x 56 mm; F: 71 x 10 mm. Housed in a glass frame measuring 280 x 220 mm.
Script: A: Very large uncial hand; second hand in the last four lines, of medium size and semi-cursive. B: Large, very sprawling hand of cursive hand. C: Large, upright uncial hand. D: Large, rather formless uncial hand. E: Large, slightly sloping uncial hand. F: Large hand, proficient and not too slow, with a slight slant to the right; letters are mostly separated; hand of an Egyptian scribe, who used a brush; same hand as that of P.Mich. I 29.

Provenance: Philadelpheia, meris of Herakleides, Arsinoite nome, Egypt. All fragments were purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 2305-2434 from Dr A. N. Kondilios in July 1921.
