Register of Imports and Exports (P.Lond. III 929, TM 11819)
- Scope & Content:
- Portion of a register recording imports and exports through the gates at Soknopaiou Nesos between the months Phamenoth and Pachon. The entries, arranged by date, include the person passing the gate, whether it is import or export, the goods carried (mostly oil, wine, grain) and the number of animals employed (donkeys and camels). Dated 180-181, or 212-213. On the back, there are portions of two columns, the first headed ‘account of the merismos of grain’.

Fragment of a medium-brown roll, with some surface damage, broken off at the right and left; with writing on both sides. On the front, there are three columns written along the fibres. Upper and lower margins are extant. On the back, there are portions of two short columns, the second being under the first, written across the fibres, the other way up in relation to the front. With ample blank space on the left; upper and lower margins are extant. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.
