- Receipt for Allowances due to the Twin Sisters of the Serapeum (P.Lond. I 31, UPZ I 29, TM 3420)
- Scope & Content:
- Demetrius son of Sosius acknowledges receipt of a quantity of sesame oil as allowance of the twin sisters of the Serapeum Taous and Tages. There follows another receipt (lines 6-12) for two payments made on account of the allowances of sesame oil of years 18 and 19 in the reign of Ptolemy VI and Cleopatra II, due to the twins. Papyrus 27 (UPZ I 30) is a duplicate of lines 6-12. With endorsement on the back.

- Medium-brown papyrus sheet, square-shaped, complete and well preserved. The writing runs on both sides. On the front, there are 13 lines running along the fibres; all margins are extant. On the back, there are two lines written across the fibres at the bottom. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.
