- Scope & Content:
- Application submitted to Aurelius Didymus, strategus of the division of Herakleides in the Arsinoite nome, by Marcus Lucretius Diogenes through Aurelius Sarapion, requesting to be appointed as a guardian of two of the three underage sons of his sister, Octavia Lucretia, after her death. Octavia Lucretia had had three sons from different marriages, and one of the children was in his father’s custody. The application submitted to the vice-prefect by Marcus Lucretius Diogenes is appended. Two papyri now at the Cadbury Research Library, Birmingham, published as P.Harris I 68(A-B), are copies of the same application.

- Medium-brown papyrus sheet, complete, with abrasion in places; the writing runs on both sides. On the front, there are 16 broad lines written along the fibres; all margins are extant, the right being minimal. On the back, there are traces of effaced writing running across the fibres. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.
