Upper papyrus (A) (P.Diog. 7, TM 10716): Beginning of an extract in red ink from a register recording privileged civic status. Flavia Primigenia, freedwoman of Flavia Rufilla, acting with her guardian, confirms Roman citizenship for her son Quintus Iulius Gaianus, and encloses various documents Dated to 143-161. Papyrus 2510 preserves further fragments. Papyrus 2509 (P.Diog. 6) is another copy of this extract.
Lower Papyrus (B) (P.Diog. 43, TM 26622): Fragment of a document, apparently concerned with land taxes. Papyrus 2526(B) belongs to the fragment.

Two papyrus fragments that do not belong together, mounted on cardboard in the same glass frame.
Upper papyrus (A): Fragment of the same papyrus as Papyrus 2510; complete at the top and broken off on all other sides; with writing on one side and the back blank. On the front, there are portions of 9 lines written along the fibres from the top of a column. The upper margin is extant.
Lower papyrus (B): Medium-to-dark-brown papyrus fragment, complete at the top and bottom; written on one side across the fibres. The back is blank. On the front, there are portions of 21 lines. Upper and lower margins survive.

Provenance: Philadelpheia, meris of Herakleides, Arsinoite nome, Egypt. Both fragments were purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 2486-2542 from Maurice Nahman (b. 1868, d. 1948) in September 1922. Part of a joint purchase with the University of Michigan and Cornell University.
