- Scope & Content:
- Portions of an extract in red ink from a register recording privileged civic status. Flavia Primigenia, freedwoman of Flavia Rufilla, acting with her guardian, confirms Roman citizenship for her son Quintus Iulius Gaianus, and encloses various documents. Papyrus 2502(A-B) preserves the beginning. Papyrus 2509 (P.Diog. 6) is another copy of this extract.

- Fragments of the same papyrus as Papyrus 2502(A); written on one side along the fibres. The back is blank. The largest portion preserves parts of 20 lines and the lower margin; the smallest fragment bears few letters of 13 lines. The fragments are mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
