- Scope & Content:
- Portion of a tax register on the front, reused on the back for a commentary, apparently on a poetic text or mythography, concerning the legend of Poimandrus, a Boeatian hero who founded Tanagra and killed one of his sons. The story deviates from Plutarch’s version. The commentary may have been on Callimachus’s Victoria Berenices or Lycophron’s Alexandra.

- Medium-brown papyrus fragment, with writing on all sides. On the front, there are portions of one column written along the fibres, with lower margin extant; on the back, there is one column, running across the fibres, broken off at the top and right; with a few traces of a preceding column. The lower margin measures 40 mm. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Dimensions: 220 x 108 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 255 x 165 mm.
Script: Recto: Upright, neat and regular cursive hand. Verso: Severe style, with a slight slant to the right, generally bilinear and carefully executed.
