Left papyrus (A) (P.Lond. V 1755, TM 19753): Receipt for tax-payments in kind made by four individuals for the third indiction; written by Paulus, tax official (diastoleus). Dated to 584-585.
Right papyrus (B) (P.Lond. V 1756, TM 19754): Receipt for tax-payments in kind made by the same individuals as the previous text for the fourth indiction, submitted by Aphous, an assistant (boethos); with endorsement on the back. Dated to 585-586.

Two papyrus sheets that do not belong together, housed in the same glass frame.
Left papyrus (A): Medium-to dark-brown papyrus sheet, complete but imperfect along part of the right edge; written on one side along the fibres; the front bears 11 lines, occupying slightly more than half of the sheet. Margins survive, the lower being ample and the right being imperfect at the top.
Right papyrus (B): Medium-brown papyrus sheet, complete, with some surface damage; written on both sides. On the front, there are the beginnings of 10 lines written along the fibres, with traces of another line at the bottom. The left margin is extant. On the back, there is a portion of one line written along the fibres.
