Brief anonymous treatise on the calculation of days and months. An instruction for calculating hijrī years indicates the date of the text's composition as 849/1445-46, during the second reign of the Ottoman sultan Murād II (مراد الثاني, reg. 1446-51, see f. 50v, lines 6-9).
Instructions for finding the first day of each month for any (hijrī) year (ff. 51v line 10- 52r, line 1), are followed by a summarising table, the latter annotated with a dated note in the head margin calculating the symbol for 1097/1685-86 as zāy (dotless ز, f. 52r).
