Draft of a petition against two men, the first of whom was accused of having sold two slaves of the petitioner; the second was the chief of police (archiphylakites), accused of having imprisoned a slave of the petitioner. Both men had failed to appear at the trial, and the petitioner asks the recipient to investigate the matter and send a copy of his judgment.

Papyrus sheet extracted from mummy cartonnage, imperfect at the top and covered with plaster in places; written on one side across the fibres. The front bears 26 lines, the first 6 of which are fragmentary. The lower margin is ample, side margins are minimal. The back is blank. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
