Five fragments from one or two papyri, housed in a glass frame. The upper left fragment preserves the top of one column written across the fibres on the front, and is blank on the back; the upper right fragment bears portions of two columns running along the fibres on the front, and one column written across the fibres on the back; the second fragment from top on the left carries the left-hand part of a column written along the fibres; on its back, there are some small traces, possibly of ink; the fragment on the right bears portions of one column running along the fibres, and is blank on the back; the fragment at the bottom preserves the beginnings of five lines written along the fibres, and additional writing across the fibres on the back.

Materials: Papyrus.
Dimensions: Fragments of varying size: upper right fragment: 225 x 96 mm; upper left fragment: 205 x 95 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 550 x 255 mm.
Script: Small and neat minuscule. In two fragments the ink is black, in three it has turned brown.

Provenance: Aphrodito, Antaiopolite nome, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 1200-1520 from the Reverend Chauncey Murch (b. 1856, d. 1907) on 20 November 1903.
