Recto (TM 25969): Regulations of customs and sales from the late first century, giving tariffs of excise duties on various items, such as livestock, pickled fish, and oil. The first section deals with rates of toll or sales-tax on calves or steer, based on age and provenience. Another section deals with the regulation on import and sale into the metropolis, villages and other districts as well.

Portion of a medium-to-dark-brown papyrus roll, broken off on the left, complete at the top, and partly mutilated at the bottom; written on both sides. On the front, there are three columns running along the fibres; of the first column, only the line ends survive. The upper margin is generous and bears further writing in different hands. The back bears several columns of varying length, written across the fibres. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.
