Astrological treatise also known as Kitāb al-mudkhal fī ṣināʿat aḥkām al-nujūm (كتاب المدخل في صناعة أحكام النجوم) and Mujmal al-uṣūl fī aḥkām al-nujūm (مجمل الأصول في أحكام النجوم) in four chapters (مقالات), composed in the late 10th century by Kiyā Abū al-Ḥasan Kūshyār ibn Labbān Bāshahrī al-Jīlī (كيا أبو الحسن كوشيار بن لبان باشهري الجيلي, fl. ca 961).
The present copy was completed on 18 Shawwāl 1061/4 October 1651 by Ghiyāth al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan Bīk Munajjim, 'the astronomer' (غياث الدين محمد بن حسن بيك منجم, see colophon, f. 32v, lines 5-9, transcribed below). Ff. 23 and 26 appear to have been bound into the volume at a later date.

- Chapter Two: Judgement on world affairs (المقالة الثانية في الحكم على أمور العالم, ff. 18v-24v);
- Chapter Three: Judgment on nativities and the revolution of their years (المقالة الثالثة في الحكم على المواليد وتحويل سنينها, ff. 24v-31r);
- Chapter Four: Making elections [of propitious moments] (المقالة الرابعة في عمل الاختيارات, ff. 31r-32v).

كافيا في معناها مغنيا في أكثر الأمر...
