Medium-brown papyrus sheet, complete and well preserved, only slightly torn along the right edge; written on one side along the fibres. The front bears 12 lines, complete, in red ink; margins are extant, the lower being ample. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Provenance: Philadelpheia, meris of Herakleides, Arsinoite nome, Egypt. The three papyri were purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 2486-2542 from Maurice Nahman (b. 1868, d. 1948) in September 1922. Part of a joint purchase with the University of Michigan and Cornell University.
