Upper papyrus (A) (P.Turner 18, TM 15688): Letter from a soldier named Petronius Valens to his father Ptolemaeus concerning his leave and arrangements about his clothing. The back bears the address. Dated between 89 and 96.
Lower left papyrus (B) (TM 765549): Two men, possibly brothers, acknowledge receipt of a quantity of vegetable seed from two village elders, two local notables and possibly one 'chief of the thief-catchers’. The loan will be repaid eight months later. The text may belong to the archive of the tax-collectors from Soknopaiou Nesos (TM Arch ID 337). Dated 23 September 215.

Three papyri that do not belong together, housed in the same glass frame.
Upper papyrus (A): Medium-brown papyrus sheet, broken off at the bottom and imperfect on the right; with holes and surface damage; written on both sides. On the front, there are 21 lines written along the fibres, some of which lack the ends; 3 lines were added in the right margin, running across the fibres, perpendicularly to the rest of the text; the back bears one line written along the fibres.
Lower left papyrus (B): Medium-brown papyrus sheet, complete but abraded in places; written on one side along the fibres. The front bears 16 lines; margins are extant, with no blank space on the right. Folding lines are still visible. The back is blank.
Lower right papyrus (C): Upper right corner of a medium-brown papyrus sheet, abraded in a few places; written on one side along the fibres. The front contains the ends of 10 lines; of the last, only a few letters remain. The upper margin is extant; no margin was left to the right. The back is blank.

Dimensions: A: 165 x 148 mm; B: 94 x 87; C: 88 x 56 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 310 x 220 mm.
Script: A: Competent but somewhat variable hand, ranging from a fairly bold semi-cursive to a smaller and more rapid cursive. B: Sloping cursive hand. C: Regular, upright hand of medium size, without ligatures.
