A series of appeals to the Privy Council regarding cases based in the allied princely states of Kathiawar. The appeals were grouped to decide whether plaintiffs in this region had the right to appeal to His Majesty in Council, according to the status of the region as a part of British India or as an independent tributary state. The judgment was that the region was independent, so the appeals were dismissed.
