Upper papyrus (A): Portion of a land register (TM 981653), listing five landholdings, providing the orientation of the holding, the name of the holder and those who cultivate it, the dimensions of its four sides and the total area in aruras, after a slight rounding. The basis for the calculation is given in a diagram: a horizontal line is drawn and the measurements of each side are written at either end, above and below.
Lower papyrus (B) (TM 765550): Fragment of a receipt recording five money payments made by the heirs of a veteran to the collectors of money taxes of Bakchias over three or four months, possibly for poll-tax (syntaximon). Dated between September and November 237. Papyrus 1712(A) preserves the left-hand half of the document.

Two papyrus fragments that do not belong together, mounted on cardboard in the same glass frame.
Upper papyrus (A): Fragment of a medium-brown papyrus, complete on the right, broken off at the top, bottom and left; written on one side along the fibres. On the front, there are portions of one column and the line ends of the preceding column. The back is blank.
Lower papyrus (B): Fragment of a papyrus sheet, the left-hand portion of which is Papyrus 1712(A); written on one side along the fibres and preserving parts of 12 lines; the upper margins is extant. The back is blank.
