Fragment of a medium-brown papyrus sheet extracted from mummy cartonnage, written on one side along the fibres. The front bears parts of 7 lines. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Dimensions: 85 x 70 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 205 x 180 mm.
Script: Neat hand written with a rather thick pen, with some large letterforms and a slight slant to the right.

Provenance: Ankyropolis (El-Hiba), Egypt. From mummy cartonnage (Mummy A). Presented with a lot comprising Papyri 2943-3035 by the Committee of the Egypt Exploration Society on 9 April 1960.
