Medium-brown papyrus fragment, complete at the top and bottom, broken off on the sides; abraded in places; written on one side along the fibres. The front bears the central portions of 4 lines; the lower margin is extant. The back is blank. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Provenance: Philadelpheia, meris of Herakleides, Arsinoite nome, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 2741-2783 from Dr A. N. Kondilios in December 1926. Part of a joint purchase with the University of Michigan and Columbia University.
