Two papyrus sheets that do not belong together, mounted on cardboard in the same glass frame.
Upper Papyrus (A): Medium-brown papyrus strip, damaged at the bottom; written on one side across the fibres. The front bears 3 lines, the last of which is fragmentary; the back is blank. The sheet was folded from the bottom upwards.
Lower papyrus (B): Right-hand fragment of a papyrus of medium colour, broken off on the other sides; written on one side across the fibres; the front bears the ends of 5 lines, and traces of another line at the top and another line at the bottom remain; the right margin survives. The back is blank.

Provenance: Hermopolis (El-Ashmunein), Hermopolite nome, Egypt. Both papyri were purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 1545-1753 from the Reverend Chauncey Murch (b. 1856, d. 1907) on 8 December 1906.
