Recto (P.Lond. V 1747, TM 36932): Tax receipt issued for Pamounis, son of Onnophris, for a payment made on account of the poll-tax; the subscription of Victor is at the end.
Verso (P.Lond. V 1867 descr., TM 36979): Coptic list of names, unpublished.
Lower papyrus (B) (P.Lond. V 1748, TM 38851): Tax receipt issued for Apollos and his son David, two monks, for a payment made on account of the poll-tax; three subscriptions follow; written by Musaeus. On the other side, there are remains of another document.

Two papyrus sheets that do not belong together, housed in the same glass frame.
Upper papyrus (A): Medium-brown papyrus sheet, written on both sides; one side bears 4 complete lines written across the fibres; margins are extant. On the other side, there are 12 lines written across the fibres.
Lower papyrus (B): Papyrus sheet, written on both sides; each side bears 4 lines written across the fibres.

Script: A: Recto: Rather large, clumsy minuscule hand; different hand for the subscription; Verso: Neat, regular upright cursive hand. B: Small, neat minuscule hand; different hands for the subscriptions at the end.

Origin: Monastery of Abba Apollos (Bawit), Hermopolite nome, Egypt.
Provenance: Abba Apollotos Monasterion (Bawit), Hermopolite nome, Egypt. Both papyri were purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 1545-1753 from the Reverend Chauncey Murch (b. 1856, d. 1907) on 8 December 1906.
