Miscellaneous texts from the archive of Zenon.
L (P.Lond. VII 1971, TM 1534): Fragmentary letter of Leontiscus, perhaps the chief police officer in the Memphite nome, to Zenon. The back bears the docket. Possibly dated April-May 254 BC.
All the other fragments are unpublished. Papyrus 2377(E) has been mounted with Papyrus 2385; Papyrus 2377(Q) and Papyrus 2377(CC) have been mounted with Papyrus 2315.

Twenty-seven papyrus fragments of varying size, not belonging together, housed in the same glass frame.
A: Upper portion of a medium-brown papyrus sheet, complete at the top, broken off on the other sides; written on one side along the fibres. The front bears 2 lines from the top of a column and traces of another line at the bottom; the back is blank.
B: Upper portion of a medium-brown papyrus sheet, complete at the top, broken off on the other sides; written on one side across the fibres. The front bears 2 lines from the top of a column and set-offs in the upper margin; a sheet-join runs along the upper edge; the back is blank.
C: Light-brown papyrus fragment, written on one side across the fibres; the front bears parts of 2 lines and there are traces of ink in the right edge; the back is blank.
D: Lower portion of a medium-brown papyrus sheet, complete at the top and perhaps on the right, broken off on the other sides; written on one side along the fibres. The front bears the end of 1 line, with ample lower margin; the back is blank.
E: The fragment has been mounted with Papyrus 2385.
F: Medium-brown papyrus fragment, with surface damage; written on one side along the fibres. The text is effaced. The back is blank.
G: Medium-brown papyrus fragment, broken off on all sides; written on one side along the fibres. The front bears portions of 4 lines, the back is blank.
H: Light-brown papyrus fragment, complete on the left, broken off on the other side. The front bears parts of 2 lines running along the fibres and traces of another line at the top; the back is blank. A sheet-join is visible.
I: Medium-brown papyrus fragment, broken off on all side. The front bears parts of 4 lines written along the fibres; the back is blank.
J: Medium-brown papyrus fragment, complete at the top and broken off on all other sides; written on one side across the fibres. The front bears a few letters from 2 lines and the upper margin is extant. The back is blank.
K: Small papyrus fragment, broken off on all sides; written on one side along the fibres; the front bears a few letters from 2 lines, the back is blank.
L: Medium-brown papyrus fragment, broken off on the right, damaged on the other sides; written on both sides, along the fibres on the front and across them on the back.
M: Medium-brown papyrus fragment, broken off on all sides; the front bears parts of 3 lines written across the fibres, the back has traces, apparently of ink.
N: Light-brown papyrus fragment, complete at the bottom and right, broken off on the other sides; the front bears the end of 1 line and traces of another line at the top, written across the fibres; the back preserves a few traces of ink.
O: Light-brown papyrus fragment, written on both sides, along and across the fibres.
P: Fragmentary papyrus sheet, broken off on the right and badly shredded; the front bears the beginnings of 4 lines written across the fibres, with upper, left and lower margins extant; folding lines are still visible. The back preserves some effaced traces of writing.
Q: Now mounted with Papyrus 2315.
R: Small papyrus fragment with traces of a few letters; blank on the back.
S: Small papyrus fragment, with some insect-holes; written on one side along the fibres. The front bears a few letters from 2 lines. The back is blank.
T: Lower portion of a medium-brown papyrus sheet, broken off at the top, left and right; written on one side across the fibres. The front bears parts of 2 lines from the bottom of a column.
V: Small fragment with traces of a couple of letters written across the fibres on one side. The back is blank.
W: Small fragment with traces of a couple of letters from 2 lines written along the fibres on one side. The back is blank.
X: Small papyrus fragment, broken off on all sides, with parts of 2 lines written across the fibres; the back is blank.
Y: Small papyrus fragment, broken off on all sides, with a couple of letters from 1 line written along the fibres; the back is blank.
Z: Light-brown papyrus fragment with trace of one letter written across the fibres on one side; the back is blank.
AA: Light-brown papyrus fragment, written on one side along the fibres; the back is blank.
BB: Dark-brown papyrus fragment, with one letter from 2 lines written along the fibres. A sheet-join is visible. The back is blank.
CC: Now mounted with Papyrus 2315.
