The plays are Medea, Melanippe Sophe, Oedipus, Orestes, Peliades, Sciron, Stheneboea, Syleus, Telephus, Temenidae, Temenus, Tennes, Troades, Hypsipyla, Phaethon, Philoctetes, Phoenissae, Phoenix, Phrixus, Chrysippus. Additional fragments from the same roll are now in Oxford, Sackler Library, and Strasbourg, Bibliothèque Nationale.

Fragments of varying size from a medium-brown papyrus roll, housed in six glass frames named Papyrus 3038(1), Papyrus 3038(2), Papyrus 3038(3), Papyrus 3038(4), Papyrus 3038(5), Papyrus 3038(6); written on one side along the fibres; the back is blank. There are about 35 lines per column; the average column width is 90 mm; the intercolumn measures about 25 mm. Additional fragments from the same roll are now in Oxford, Sackler Library, inventoried as 102/195(e), and Strasbourg, Bibliothèque Nationale, inventoried as P. gr. 2676 a.

Script: Medium-sized informal round hand, upright, regular but not bilinear, with irregular use of serifs and ligatures; high dot and diaeresis occur.
