A diary used as a notebook. It contains transcribed Baul song lyrics. Chiefly these lyrics were collected when Dinabandhu was learning the songs from the gurus based in Purulia and Murshidabad districts in West Bengal. He also collected songs from Debdas Baul, Ananda Gopal Das and Mahajans of Birbhum district, Radhesham Das and Nilkanta Gosain. Some of the songs are by saint songwriters Fakir Lalon Shah and Bhaba Pagla. Travel plans, contact details of related people are also in the notebook. Image number 253-54: An empty envelope from France.

Condition of original material: Severely damaged condition, pages have come apart, ink feathering and foxing occurred on some of the pages.
