Original Drawings, from the Buddhist Rock Temples at Bhaja, Karadh, Kuda, Mahar, Badami and Aihole prepared under the superintendence of Jas. Burgess, LL.D. Archaeological Surveyor.’ f.3 inscribed in ink: ‘List of Drawings of Archaeological Survey.’ Drawings inscribed with titles in ink or pencil and signed by J. Burgess, H. Cousens, S.J. Pacheco, Ganpat Purshotam, Jayrao Raghoba, Ganpat Rai. Pencil, pen-and-ink, crayon, wash; size of Volume 27.5 by 21.5 ins. Deposited c.1878. Note: Most of these drawings are reproduced in J.
