Treatise on astral elections, or choosing propitious times to begin various actions, judging by the stations of the Moon.
The treatise belongs to the genre of Islamicate occult scientific literature known as the pseudo-Aristotelian Hermetica, which takes its name from the fact that it is made up of texts purporting to be accounts of the teachings of Hermes on various subjects transmitted by Aristotle sometimes explicitly for the benefit of his pupil Alexander the Great.
This text is number 1 (ا) in the present collection.
