- a letter addressed to O’Callaghan from Wolseley of the War Office, dated 22 Apr 1887, requesting information on a military action
- an incomplete letter from Sir John Cowell, controller of the Queen’s household, regarding the receipt and placement of the bible of C G Gordon as given to Princess Beatrice
