This section of a two-part miscellany contains a selection of ghazals and quatrains in Chagatai by the language''s most renowned poet, Mir Ali Shir Nava’i (844–906 AH/1441–1501 CE). The verses are written in good nasta‘liq in diagonal lines.
The work can be dated to the late twelfth century AH/eighteenth century CE. The other work in the volume, a religious didactic work also in Chagatai, was completed on 25 Ramazan 1174 AH/20 April 1761 CE.
