Records information on the chaplaincies founded in favor of the Instituto de Caridad Hermandad de Dolores [Institute of Charity "Fraternity of Sorrows"]. Specifically, the documents address the chaplaincy of 4,000 pesos founded by testamentary clause in 1830 by Mrs. Ignacia Valdés, which included an anniversary of masses for the benefit of her soul, that of her deceased husband and those of her parents, grandparents, siblings, servants "and other persons of obligation." Originally, Manuela Valdés y Goycolea was designated as the patron of this chaplaincy; then her niece, Juana Ugarte Valdés; later the brother of the last one, Francisco Ugarte Valdés and, once he died, the Hermandad de Dolores [Fraternity of Sorrows], around 1923.

Específicamente, los documentos abordan la capellanía de 4.000 pesos fundada por cláusula testamentaria el año 1830 por doña Ignacia Valdés, la cual comprendía un aniversario de misas a beneficio de su alma, la de su esposo difunto y las de sus padres, abuelos, hermanos, sirvientes “y demás personas de obligación”. Originalmente se señaló como patrono de esta capellanía a Manuela Valdés y Goycolea; luego a la sobrina de esta, Juana Ugarte Valdés; posteriormente al hermano de esta última, Francisco Ugarte Valdés y; muerto este, a la Hermandad de Dolores, hacia 1923.
