It contains information on two different topics. The first group of documents includes the correspondence between the Hermandad de Dolores [Fraternity of Sorrows] and Brépolis, to manage the new edition of Andrés Hamón's Meditations and its dispatch to Chile through the institution's presidents, first Juana Solar de Domínguez and later María Mercedes Urriola. The second group of documents is related to the sculptural group "Piedad" or "Pietá", commissioned from Rome for the altar of the Hermandad de Dolores [Fraternity of Sorrows] which was located in the Cathedral of Santiago (still preserved today).

El primer grupo de documentos comprende la correspondencia entre la Hermandad de Dolores y Brépolis, para gestionar la nueva edición de las Meditaciones de Andrés Hamón y su envío hacia Chile a través de las presidentas de la institución, primero Juana Solar de Domínguez y luego María Mercedes Urriola. El segundo grupo de documentos dice relación con el conjunto escultórico “Piedad” o “Pietá”, encargado a Roma para el altar de la Hermandad de Dolores que se ubicaba en la Catedral de Santiago (aún conservado en la actualidad).
