It contains the funeral oration pronounced on July 14, 1917 by Alejandro Vicuña at the funeral of Alejandro Larraín, who had been director of the Hermandad de Dolores [Fraternity of Sorrows] for forty years. He indicates biographical data, details about the illness that afflicted him recently, his charitable vocation and his work in the institution.
Contiene la oración fúnebre pronunciada el 14 de julio de 1917 por Alejandro Vicuña en las exequias de Alejandro Larraín, quien había sido director de la Hermandad de Dolores por cuarenta años. Señala datos biográficos, detalles sobre la enfermedad que lo aquejó el último tiempo, su vocación caritativa y su labor en la institución.
