Derived from the Mahabharata. It is usually ascribed to the Anushasana-parva. However, this manuscript ascribes it to the Shanti-parva. No other detail is available.; Complete/ Incomplete: Incomplete; Date of copying: Not Known; Place of composition: Not Known.
Custodial history: Established in the year of 1961 this library is a memorial house of Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar, a well known educationist and social reformer of British India. Birsingha is the birthplace of Vidyasagar. Many books are found which Vidyasagar used to read and gave a foot note on the book pages. Apart from this many manuscripts are also found. They provide all the facilities which can be possible for a rural library to its readers or members.
