It is a Sanskrit drama based on Rāmāyaṇa. The first folio is not a part of this text. It is a stray folio that consists of the following text: majjya(?)mṛte vā prājāpatyaṃ tatra dhenur ekā kṣaiṇyajñāne tu rodhane cāndrāyaṇasya pādaḥ | tatra dve dhenū | bandhane dvipādas tatra catasro dhenavaḥ | yojane tripādas tatra ṣaḍdhenavaḥ | yathoktadaṇḍaprahārādinām ṛte aṣṭau dhenavaḥ parimāṇādhikadaṇḍaprahāre tu ajñāne prājāpatyadvayaṃ tatra dve dhenū jñāne tu cāndrāyaṇadvayaṃ tatra pañcadaśa dhenavaḥ cāndrāyaṇam āha parāśaraḥ; Complete / Incomplete: Complete; Place of composition: Orissa [Odisha]?; Date of copying: Śaka 1588 (= 1666 CE) on 22nd day of the month of Caitra.
Custodial history: One of the oldest libraries in the Hooghly district. Sisir Bani Mandir was established at Guptipara in 1917. The library has a good collection of old Sanskrit and Bengali manuscripts and some rare books in different languages. Cuncura Bartabaha is one of the rarest collections of the library.
Administrative context: The CSSSC, on realising the importance of copying the collection applied for a grant to the EAP against which EAP921 has been awarded.
