This palm-leaf manuscript contains two different works. The first is a rare folk literary work from Nallur, Sri Lanka. It is written in Tamil in a poetic style and is from the 19th century. On the basis of semantic analysis, it could be a folk story told through poems. Due to the references to the flower, tāḻampū, it could be the Hindu folk story of aṭimuṭi tēṭiya paṭalam. The second work is written in Tamil and is from the early 20th century. It is a Saiva song and could be a mythological work regarding a sacred temple.
