Correspondence, itinerary and report for the tour run by West Himalayan Holidays Ltd and Venturing, led by Lady Betjemen, 4 to 27 April 1980.
Includes two of Penelope Chetwode's notebooks containing her handwritten notes on the places visited on the 1980 tour, a printed information sheet 'Notes on Temple Architecture in Himachal Pradesh', and an envelope containing 14 photographs taken on the tour.
The tour visited Delhi, Simla, Shamsher Mahadev, Paneo, Takrassi, Shoja, Banjar, Sainj, Bhallan, Parasher, Kataula, Mandi, and Chandigarh.
