- Includes: transcripts of newspaper articles concerning fake radio broadcasts; a memorandum on the exhumation of William Joyce’s body in 1976; official notice of the destruction of letters in Joyce’s possession after his execution; certificates of the award of the Kriegverdienstkreuz (Cross of Merit) to Margaret Joyce and the Kriegsverdienstmedaille (War Merit Medal) to William Joyce in 1944; confirmation of William Joyce’s appointment as Chief Commentator for England in 1942; and his contract with Recihs-Rundfunk G.m.b.H; financial papers showing Joyce’s remuneration for his work in Germany; William Joyce’s German passport and identity documents; his statement given at the General Hospital, Lüneberg after his capture, 31 May 1945; William Joyce’s card showing him as a member of the Deutscher Volkssturm militia, Wilhelmplatz Batallion; photographs; and a list of property found in the Joyces’ accommodation at Apen.
