Contains a copy of a letter from Taviner to Oswald Mosley (Dec 1933), with a typescript; a letter from William Joyce to Taviner (Oct 1937) referring to Taviner’s letter to Mosley; a photocopy of a press cutting [1939] indicating Taviner’s intention to sue Mosley for slander; press cuttings from 1941 reporting Joyce’s alleged pre-war organisation of a network of German spies in Britain; a letter from Mosley to Taviner asking for her help in the 1961 London County Council election; a letter from David Wheeler to [Harry] Bidney [of the anti-fascist 62 Group] relating to Taviner’s wish to apologise to Bidney for inviting Colin Jordan [of the National Socialist Movement] to a meeting of a religious group that was raided by anti-fascists; and correspondence relating to Taviner’s film and theatrical affairs. Also contains a prospectus for investors in a production of George Hulme’s The Life and Death of Adolf Hitler, due to open at the Royal Albert Hall in June 1972; publicity photographs and stills; publicity material for plays Taviner appeared in; and the plot outline of a film or play called Kreuz der Tapferkeit [Cross of Valour].
