The manuscript is a biography of Senegalese Sufi leader Seydu Nuuru Taal. The author traces Taal's genealogy as one of Umar Taal's prominent grandsons. It narrates detaiuls about his birth, training, and his political role in colonial Senegal. The author began the book in 1981 and completed it on February 18, 1984.
Le manuscrit est une biographie du leader soufi sénégalais Seydu Nuuru Taal. L'auteur retrace la généalogie de Taal comme l'un des petits-fils éminents d'Umar Taal. Il raconte des evenements sur la naissance de Taal, sa formation et son rôle politique au Sénégal colonial. L'auteur a commencé le livre en 1981 et l'a terminé le 18 février 1984.

Condition of original material: The manuscript was dusty before digitization. It is clearly legible, blue ink with some faded lines on some pages.
