This book is a handwritten manuscript. It deals with an explanation of the principles of medicine. The date of composition of the original text is Hijri 890 and it was composed in Yemen. This manuscript was a part of a majmu' along with كتاب المجربّات (Book of Mercy about Medicine and Wisdom), and , كتاب المجربّات (Book of Experience-Based Healing).
Extent: The second section of a majmu' containing 66 folios and 4 blank pages.
Size and dimensions of original material: Height 21.5cm, width 16cm, depth 1cm.
Condition of original material: quite good, pages are in yellow colour.
Custodial history: This book was inherited from the father of the archive owner, Sayyid Abdul Khadar Ba Alawi Mattul.
