- Printed in Warsaw, printing house of P. Dufort. Popular in the old believers ' environment, the essay beginning of the XVII century. Authorship is not fully clarified. The book is addressed to "those who want to be saved" and is devoted to a detailed analysis of all obstacles and disputes on the difficult path of monastic feat. The author refers to the ideals of the skete residence, paying special attention to the necessity of the incessant "Jesus prayer".
