The coastline shows soundings.Extensive manuscript additions in black ink and coloured pencil note relative strengths of military forces.The base map has been cropped on the left hand side and some information is missing. A note indicates, 'this map is a collection of sketches by Egyptian pilgrimage officers, and members of Sherif's forces. An attempt has been made to control it by native information, but without success. Coastline from Admiralty Chart. Jidda-Taif area from GSGS.' Produced by Ordnance Survey. This edition is derived from the First provisional Edition (IOR/X/12054/1) 'with large corrections'.
