Grant by Idonia of Hurst [Sussex] to Robertsbridge Abbey [Sussex] of all her lands, villeins and rents in Broomhill [Sussex] in return for one mark of silver for Idonia and a gold talent for her son Robert.
Endorsed: in a 16th-century hand, ‘Idonia de Herst / Domina de Prymhell’; in an 18th-century hand, ‘Idona de Hirst / D[omi]na de Prumhell'; in a different 18th-century hand, ‘Sans Date.’
Affixed with an imperfect seal of Idonia, lozenge, brown, with a full-length figure of Idonia in a long dress with long mauches and a necklace. In her right hand is a sceptre, in her left hand a bird, with the legend, ‘sigillu[m] de idonie de herst’.
