The text deals with the biography of Śrī Caitanya. The text is mainly written in Bengali, but quotes a large number of Sanskrit texts (mainy poetry). It also includes three commentaries to the sanskrit parts of the text and mentions them as: Bhāvārthadīpikā, Kramasandarbha and Cakravarti. This is the first Khaṇḍa of three Khaṇḍas of the text. It contains first seventeen paricchedas of Caitanyacaritāmṛtm.; Complete / Incomplete: Complete MS.; Place of composition: Vṛndāvana; Date of copying: Not mentioned (Should be Śaka 1726 as the following two khaṇḍas mentions it and this one also looks like the work of the similar scribe).
Extent: One Manuscript of 96 folios.
