A bilingual translation and autocommentary on a panegirical work praising the accomplishments of King Badon-min (r. 1782-1819). Between 1789 and c. 1812, the author was appointed the head of the court-sponsored monastic hierarchy. Disrobing in c. 1812, he continued to serve as one of the key literati at the Burmese court until 1831 or 1832.
