Paramatthajotikā. Suttanipāta aṭṭhakathā pāṭha II
- Scope & Content:
-
A commentary on the Suttanipāta, a canonical text belonging to the Khuddaka-nikāya collection of the Suttanta-piaka. Suttanipāta is comprised of 74 suttantas organized into five divisions. Many of these have parallels in other parts of the Pali canon. Paramatthajotikā is a commentary traditionally ascribed to Buddhaghosa though academic scholarship has questioned this attribution. Suttanipāta part of that commentary was likely an independent text originally. Its method and treatment is similar to other commentaries on the canonical nikāyas.
