1. Hugh Wood's typed programme notes for many of his compositions. The notes are sometimes in draft form and, for some works, exist in more than one version having evidently been written for different occasions. There are notes for the following Opus numbers:

- Op.2. Four Songs to poems by Christopher Logue.
- Op.3. Trio for flute, viola and piano.
- Op.4. String Quartet no.1.
- Op.5. Three Piano Pieces.
- Op.7. Three Choruses,
- Op.8. Capriccio for organ.
- Op.9. Quintet for clarinet, horn, violin, cello and piano.
- Op.10. The Horses, for high voice and piano (settings of Ted Hughes).
- Op.12. Cello Concerto. Together with notes for Op.17 Violin Concerto (see also below).
- Op.13. String Quartet no.2.
- Op.15. Chamber Concerto for chamber ensemble.
- Op.17. Violin Concerto (different text to that noted above).
- Op.19. Song Cycle to Poems of Pablo Neruda.

- Op.21. Symphony. Includes programme note by Bayan Northcott.
- Op.24. Trio for violin, cello and piano.
- Op.26. Paraphrase for clarinet and piano.

2. Reviews (1976-2002). Various reviews of performances and recordings of Wood's works, as cuttings and photocopies.
3. Two miscellaneous items:
- Anthony Milner. The text of a broadcast talk (CBC, Vancouver, 1976) titled 'Music - mausoleum, hot-house, or living tradition?' Copy typescript (8 sheets), together with a typed list (1 sheet) of lectures given by Milner in Canada and USA, 20 March - 22 April 1976.
- Kurt Schwertsik. Typed summaries (photocopies) of Opp.1-27, in German with some translation into English (1976-77).
