The Story of Prophet Yoseph

This manuscript entitled Carita Yusup tells about the story of Prophet Joseph in the form of tembang, verse forms in Javanese Literature to which a reader applies one of known tunes. It tells about the life of Prophet Joseph from 12 years old to his being a King of Egypt. It has 15 rows per page with black, red, and purple ink. There is illumination on the first page of the manuscript.
Extent: 1 daluang manuscript.
Size and dimensions of original material: Height: 25 cm., Width: 18 cm.
Condition of original material: The manuscript is heavily damaged. Some of its pages have holes in the central part. It probably causes by insects. Some of the pages also have been cut.
