Custodial history: Lima´s General cemetery was created in 1808. Since the creation of the Sociedad de Beneficencia de Lima Metropolitana (1834) this institution administered the cemetery.
Arrangement: The documents were originally organized by the workers of the General Cemetery and then reclassified at the Beneficencia de Lima Metropolitana. They are organized chronologically.
