This manuscript contains love songs, which were sung about Katiramalaikantaṉ. It's mentioned that it was written and completed in January, 1983. Signature of the auther is written as Ka. Āṟumukam. It's also mentioned that Pēriṉpakkātal was sung by Sri. Ka. Kanapatipiḷḷai, on page number 68. Iṭumpaṉ kavacam is mentioned as a Pēriṉpakkātal that was sung by Tirukatiraivēlā. It doesn't include a protective cover and leaves are numbered.
